​I've always been fascinated by different backgrounds and cultures, by opinions and convictions. I spent years living abroad in Argentina and Spain, working in smaller start-ups, and marveling at how people express their passion and creativity.

When I moved back to Hamburg and into a consulting role, I was looking for ways to incorporate this openness in my life in other ways. By mere chance, I signed up for an introductory improv course. A whole weekend of exercises, laughs and "yes, and"ing. It truly felt like a bubble filled with appreciation, respect and collaboration. Improv is a lot like traveling, so it immediately clicked with me. And I wanted more of that.​

For the next two years, I immersed myself in the world of improv, attending courses, reading a dozen books and learning from the bright minds of the industry in the United States. Most importantly, I pushed myself to overcome my fears and got on stage. Again. And again. As part of the group HaHa Hamburg Improv, we now perform every month in Hamburg.

I quickly realized the transformative effects of improvisation extend far beyond theatrical performance. This insight sparked a new mission: to bring the dynamic concepts and energy of improv directly into the workplace.​
